Promess is a fast growing, customer driven technology company, looking for innovative and self-motivated interns to fill roles in the Promess Mechanical Engineering Department.
Job Description: The mechanical engineering group is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of all mechanical components at Promess. You’ll be asked to assist our in-house technicians and application engineers in trouble shooting mechanical problems within our systems. The workload for a mechanical engineer is roughly 75% CAD computer work, and 25% hands-on work; therefore, you should have basic knowledge of 3D CAD software. Additionally, you’ll be working directly with suppliers as it pertains to Promess product.
Required: • College Status: Sophomore • College Major: Mechanical Engineering • Minimum GPA 3.0 • 1 Class of 3D CAD Modeling
